These farm calls are for power floats, sheath cleanings, Rhino/Flu vaccine boosters, Leptospirosis vaccines and Lyme Disease testing. Screening tests, such as ulcer testing, CBC/Chemistry, metabolic profiles, and thyroid levels can be done at this time as well. Horses needing a detailed examination, radiographs, castration, etc. must be scheduled at a different time.
We would be happy to collect and take fecal samples back to the clinic for quantitative fecal exams. Now is the perfect time to be sure your deworming protocol is working. Let’s make sure your horses are negative heading into winter!
Hay testing is also available at this time! If you’re interested in knowing the feed quality of your hay, we can collect hay samples during your farm call to send out for a detailed analysis.
