Hannah was born and raised in Oneonta with horses, beef cows, and Labradors. She has always had a love for animal and was always in the pastures taking care of my critters.
After graduating from Oneonta High School, Hannah moved to Arizona where she went to school to become a Veterinary Technician. After tech school she worked at a mixed practice for three years, working with roping and cutting horses from local ranches before moving back to New York in the winter of 2016.
Hannah joined the Leatherstocking Veterinary team in February of 2016, where she is enjoying her dream job of working with large animals only. When Hannah is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs Remington and Timber. She also enjoys trail riding with her two horses, Ranger and Dulcey. Hannah likes to spend as much time as possible hunting with and without hound dogs.
Jenny grew up in Hamlin, a small town in western New York, where she developed a love for animals. She always had animals growing up, and got her first horse, an Appaloosa mare, when she was 11. Since then, there was no turning back!
After High School, Jenny attended Morrisville State College majoring in Equine Science and Management, with a specialization in Hunt Seat Breaking and Training. In her final semester in college, she participated in an internship in Connecticut at an impressive Hunter/Jumper facility where she expanded her knowledge in grooming, nutrition, lameness, and the care of equine athletes, along with witnessing acupuncture, massage and chiropractic. After graduating in 2009 with her Bachelor’s Degree, she accepted a position at a Thoroughbred breeding farm where she assisted with foaling, live cover breeding, yearling sales prep and OTTB retraining. Jenny began working at Leatherstocking as part of the barn staff in the Spring of 2011, and then accepted the position of Veterinary Assistant in 2012.
While not at work, she is busy being a dairy farmer’s wife to her husband Matt, who is part of his family’s large dairy farm, and Mother to their son, Noah. She also has 3 cats; Polly, Oliver and Dot as well as her dog, Joy, who keep her busy as well! In her limited spare time, Jenny enjoys riding and working with her Thoroughbred gelding, Spike, and spending time with her family at their hill-top home in Milford.
