What is one thing you can’t live without?

I can’t live without animals. I have 5 standardbred horses, well, 4 1/2 because I have a foal on the way!

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is seafood.

What would your perfect weekend look like?

My perfect weekend would be spent on my farm with my animals and with my significant other, Russ.

What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on and why?

My best trip was in high school. My family and I took a buss tour to 7 western states. I got to see the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone. I was truly amazing!

Describe an interesting hobby or pastime that you have.

An interesting pastime of mine is drawing. I am very crafty and have tried so many different crafts over the years. I also really enjoy cooking.

Do you follow any sports teams?

No, I do not follow any sports teams but I do follow horse racing.

What do you love most about your job?

I love my job because I my role is so versatile. I love what I do and I love my team. We are close knit and it makes work great.

How has your role evolved since you joined the team?

My role has evolved by having started as Barn Care staff and then using my degree to become more involved in the management and breeding roles at Leatherstocking.

What’s your favorite memory from working at the company?

My favorite memory is when the back staff takes me under their wing in learning the medical side of things when time allows. I have stayed after hours for emergencies and surgeries and getting to see the other side of the clinic is fun. I always loved school and learning new things, so I enjoy being able to continue that into my adult life and occupation.
